(ECNS) -- Swiss Federal Councilor and Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis said in Beijing that Switzerland warmly welcomes Chinese tourists and will provide more visa facilitation for Chinese citizens and enterprises investing in the country.
Cassis, who was visiting China, said at a media briefing that the year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and China.
He pointed out that China remains Switzerland's third-largest trading partner, and that Switzerland hopes to further deepen and strengthen cooperation with China in various fields.
Cassis highly praised China's visa-free policies for Swiss citizens and expressed Switzerland's warm welcome to Chinese tourists.
