The 2024 Tourism Plus Shanghai, a tourism-themed event will be unveiled on March 26, according to "Shanghaitourism", the city's official WeChat account releasing culture and tourism information.
Covering 600,000 square meters, the event will invite more than 5,000 exhibitors from some 30 countries and regions and covering 12 segments this year. More than 400,000 passenger trips of professional visitors from over 120 countries and regions are expected to partake in the expo, according to the organizer.
The event will consist of two separate exhibitions. One is an expo with a focus on hospitality, business spaces and yacht shows taking place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in the Pudong New Area between March 26 and 29, and the other with the theme pavilion and an expo specialized on hospitality and the catering industry will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from March 27 to 30.
Initially launched in 2021, the Tourism Plus Shanghai is a global event on tourism industrial chain. In the past few years, the exhibition has developed into a comprehensive tourism event covering all related businesses including catering, hospitality, transportation, traveling, shopping and entertainment.
